My trip to the US was the first travel in 6 years of study and work. Even though I traveled to pursue a higher degree, I was full of energy and I made the most of it in the first months.

I googled the activities, events and touristic places to go in the cities where I went. I made several friends during these trips and we had fun. After a while, I met friends who've been here for a while, and apparently they are bored just like if they were home. I new that I will be like them after a while! I started asking myself: Is it necessary to travel to make all the fun?
What if I had done this at home, looking for places and events to have fun? What could I have found?

Lots of fun! Yup, the kind of fun you can have on weekends, and thankfully you already have a lot friends in your home.
Sometimes people spend small fortunes in traveling and doing things they can do at home. Indeed traveling is good, but some times we need a small dose of sweet to suppress the boring routine right?
